Detailed Itinerary
Trip: Dhaka - Sundarban - Dhaka
- 01:00 AM: Departure from Shimulia Ghat along the Shitalakkhya River.
- Travel via Dhaleshwari and Meghna Rivers through Chandpur to Kalabdar and Kirtonkhola River towards Barisal.
- Continue along the Sugandha and Bishkhali Rivers of Jhalokathi, then through the British-dug artificial canal “Gabkhan” towards the Kacha River of Pirojpur.
- Proceed along the Baleshwar River towards Sundarban’s Sarnkhola Forest Office.
- Enter the forest with permission from the Forest Department and armed guards starting from Sarnkhola.
- Continue along Supati Khal towards Kochikhali area, overnight stay onboard the ship.
- Visit Kochikhali and Dimer Char area including canal cruising, forest offices, watchtowers, tiger point, and coastal beach exploration.
- Explore Kotka area with forest office, watchtower, Jamtala, tiger hill, and forest walks.
- Return to the ship in the evening for a BBQ dinner and overnight stay.
- Visit Andharmanik/Harbaria and Karamjal areas.
- Travel via Mongla Port to reach Khulna by 5:00 PM marking the end of the cruise.
- Return to Dhaka by AC bus via Padma Bridge, arriving at approximately 10:00 PM.
